Key Responsibilities

The general labor position involves loading and unloading trailers and containers, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assembling, fixing, and repairing merchandise. Responsibilities also include packing orders, preparing parcels for shipment, sorting and placing items on racks and shelves, and operating warehouse equipment safely. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain cleanliness of the facility, and perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Required skills include physical strength and stamina, attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, time management, ability to follow verbal and written instructions, safe equipment handling, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

 

Expected results include accurate and timely completion of tasks, properly handled and undamaged merchandise, well-organized and clean work areas, safe use of equipment, and overall contribution to efficient warehouse operations.

 

Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods, climb up to 6 feet, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
