Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CDL Driver with sit-down forklift experience for a manufacturing company in Winchester, VA.

This position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, warehouse, and material-handling responsibilities. The primary responsibility will be transporting trailers between the company's local facilities, along with unloading materials and safely operating a sit-down forklift within the warehouse.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport trailers between company facilities
• Maneuver trailers throughout the company’s yard and designated areas
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Assist with receiving, staging, and organizing materials
• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections as required
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate transportation and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and transportation teams
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as needed

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required
• Previous CDL driving experience preferred
• Sit-down forklift experience required
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Ability to safely maneuver trailers and operate material-handling equipment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required

Schedule & Pay

• Monday–Friday
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
• Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• $22.00–$26.00/hour, depending on experience
• Full-time opportunity
