Field and Lab Technician

We are seeking a Field and Lab Technician to perform construction materials testing on soils, concrete, and asphalt for various construction projects. This position involves both field and laboratory work, data collection, reporting, and maintaining testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
• Collect and document material samples and test results.
• Complete reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain testing equipment and company vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and industry testing standards.
• Work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Previous construction materials testing experience preferred.
• Industry certifications (ACI, WAQTC, CAPA, NICET, Nuclear Gauge Safety) are a plus.

Job Details

• Full-time position
• Local travel to construction sites required
• Occasional overtime and overnight travel may be needed

Pay: $17.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
