Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Location: Frederick, MD
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate for a client in Frederick, MD.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of forklift experience, previous warehouse experience, and hands-on experience using power tools. This is a physically active position that requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

This position involves working both indoors and outdoors in various conditions. Candidates must be comfortable working in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other outdoor conditions as required by daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize materials

• Use power tools and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively

• Assist with receiving, stocking, staging, and preparing materials

• Load and unload products and materials

• Maintain accurate inventory and proper material placement

• Perform general warehouse and material-handling duties

• Work both indoors and outdoors as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

• Work independently while supporting the overall warehouse team

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of forklift experience required

• Experience using power tools required

• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

• Strong commitment to safety

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Positive attitude and team-first mindset

• Basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
