Warehouse Associate – Shipping, Receiving & Forklift

A local waterworks and utility-materials company is seeking a dependable, well-rounded Warehouse Associate to support picking, packaging, shipping, receiving, forklift operation and general warehouse responsibilities. This position involves frequent handling of PVC pipe and requires someone who is physically capable, computer-savvy and comfortable supporting both warehouse and administrative/logistics duties.

 

Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 or 5:00 PM; occasional Saturday overtime available
Location: Sedalia, CO
Position Type: Full-time, Evaluation Hire

Responsibilities include:

• Pick, stage, package and prepare PVC pipe and utility-material orders
• Load and unload trucks
• Receive, inspect and organize incoming materials
• Operate a forklift safely
• Complete shipping and receiving tasks
• Enter information into shipping and warehouse programs
• File invoices and purchase orders
• Support general warehouse operations as needed
• Lift and move 50+ pounds consistently throughout the day

The ideal candidate will have warehouse, shipping/receiving, forklift or material-handling experience and must be comfortable using a computer for data entry and document organization. Reliable transportation is required because the position is located in Sedalia. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants hands-on warehouse work with the potential to grow into a more administrative or logistics-focused role.
