NOW HIRING – HR SPECIALIST

Pay: $30/hour
Location: Downtown Area

We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to support all areas of the Human Resources department and help manage the employee life cycle.

Responsibilities:
• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified candidates
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and reference checks
• Conduct new-hire orientations and onboarding
• Assist with benefits administration
• Respond to employment-related questions from employees and applicants
• Maintain confidential employee records and HRIS information
• Assist with payroll and benefits discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Support HR policies, programs, and company culture

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
• Associate degree plus experience may be considered
• 3–5 years of HR experience preferred
• SHRM certification preferred
• Experience with FMLA, recruiting, and HCM/HR systems preferred
• Knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
