Shift: Full-time Overnight (7:30 PM – 6:30 AM)

Job Overview

We are seeking reliable, attentive Certified Traffic Flaggers to manage traffic flow for overnight roadwork and construction projects in Kenner. This role is critical to maintaining high safety standards for active work zones, motorists, and site crews. Safety equipment (hard hat and safety vest) is required, and all operational flagging materials will be provided on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Control vehicle traffic safely through work zones using standard flagging signals, paddles, and communication protocol.

• Remain continuously alert and stationed at assigned posts throughout the shift to prevent site accidents.

• Maintain clear line-of-sight communication with co-flaggers and work crews.

• Adhere strictly to site safety policies, including maintaining focus without personal mobile phone distractions during active duty hours.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Traffic Control Flagger Certification required.

• Personal PPE required: Standard safety vest and hard hat (flags provided on site).

• Exceptional dependability, physical stamina, and alertness for overnight shifts.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods outdoors in varying weather conditions.
