Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable and experienced Bobcat Operator / Warehouse Associate for a year-round, long-term opportunity. 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a Bobcat, skid steer, or similar equipment and be comfortable working independently in a warehouse/plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Bobcat, skid steer, or similar compact equipment safely and efficiently
• Load, move, and position materials as needed
• Maneuver equipment safely around buildings, trucks, and other equipment
• Perform routine equipment inspections and identify basic maintenance or safety concerns
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
• Assist with warehouse and plant operations as needed
• Work extended hours when required, particularly during harvest and loading-out periods

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience operating a Bobcat, skid steer, or similar equipment
• Must be confident and comfortable operating equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work flexible hours based on plant needs and weather
• No formal Bobcat certification required; proven operating experience is required

Pay

Starting at $20+/hour DOE.

Pay will be based on experience, skill level, and overall ability. Candidates with strong Bobcat operating experience may qualify for a higher starting wage.

Schedule

Typical Winter Schedule:
Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

There may be times when 12-hour shifts are required, particularly during loading out.

Loading Out

Loading out occurs when the plant needs potato product and trucks need to be loaded. These needs can arise unexpectedly, including during or after snowstorms or when the plant calls for product.

Employees must be flexible and willing to work extended shifts when loading out is required.

Harvest Schedule

Candidates starting during harvest season should be prepared for long days and extended hours until harvest is complete.

After harvest, the position will transition to the typical year-round schedule, with occasional extended shifts based on loading-out and plant needs.
