Job Overview

A local fleet maintenance facility in Harahan is seeking a reliable Lube Technician to perform routine vehicle servicing on commercial trucks. This role focuses on essential preventative maintenance, fluid checks, and oil changes to keep fleet vehicles operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and complete fluid checks on fleet trucks.

• Inspect belts, hoses, tires, and basic undercarriage components for wear and potential safety issues.

• Document completed maintenance work and report any major mechanical issues to the shop manager.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while adhering to environmental safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

• Drug screen (DT) and background check (BG) required.

• Previous lube technician, quick-lube, or basic automotive/truck maintenance experience preferred.

• Ability to safely operate basic shop equipment and hand tools.

• Physical capability to bend, lift heavy components, stand for long periods, and work in shop conditions.
