Job Description

A growing steel fabrication company in Shawnee is looking for a dependable Saw Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws to cut steel and metal materials to specified sizes
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure and other measuring tools
• Read and follow work orders and production specifications
• Load, position, and secure materials for cutting
• Inspect materials and finished cuts for accuracy and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Assist with other manufacturing duties as needed

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, warehouse, or machine operating experience preferred
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and steel materials
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
