Job Summary
The technician follows written or verbal instructions and uses hands-on experience to build high-quality finished goods for the lighting industry. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coating Production: Paint or powder coat metal parts to meet daily goals and quality expectations.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean, mask, and inspect parts before application.
  • Equipment Operation: Run and care for spray guns, paint booths, conveyors, curing ovens, and pretreatment systems.
  • Quality Control: Check coating thickness, adhesion, coverage, appearance, chemical concentration, and cure verification, then log the data.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance like filter changes, booth cleaning, and wash system upkeep.
  • Communication: Update management on job status and production issues.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of application techniques, curing processes, and coating materials.
  • Hands-on experience with paint booths, ovens, and spray equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
