About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring full-time Sit-Down Driver / Material Handlers (2nd & 3rd Shifts) for an established industrial recycling facility in Saint Louis, MO (63147).

In this dual-responsibility role across our afternoon, evening, or overnight shifts, you will operate a sit-down forklift to transport and stage incoming inventory while also assisting with hands-on material prep. Duties include operating equipment, cleaning out vehicle interiors, removing debris, pulling internal wiring, and dismantling small metal parts prior to processing. Complete on-the-job training is provided for the prep process, but candidates must be comfortable combining forklift operations with hands-on scrap prep work. What You Will Do

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move, stage, and position materials across the yard and facility.

• Sorting & Site Upkeep: Separate pulled metals and waste into assigned collection bins and keep work zones clean and safe.

What You Need

• Equipment Experience: Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse, yard, or industrial setting.

• Required PPE: Steel-toe work boots strictly required on site from day one.

• Industrial Comfort: Comfortable working in an active, industrial recycling yard setting.

• Shift Availability: Openness to work either 2nd shift or 3rd shift hours.

• Reliability: Strong work ethic, daily punctuality, and dependable transportation to Saint Louis, MO 63147.
