Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Machine Operator for a growing food manufacturing company in Dyersville, IA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production professional looking for a stable, full-time position with a 4-day workweek and no Fridays or weekends required.

The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be comfortable working independently while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Schedule

Training Shift (First Few Months)

• Monday-Thursday
• 3:45 AM - 3:15 PM

Permanent Night Shift

• Monday-Thursday
• 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment
• Adjust machine settings and processing parameters to maintain product quality and production flow
• Perform product changeovers and equipment setup
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Complete quality inspections and production documentation
• Monitor product specifications and report any deviations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate forklifts and other production equipment as needed
• Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards
• Assist with production, packaging, and material handling activities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous machine operation experience strongly preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience required
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Basic math and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to work around manufacturing equipment, noise, and varying production conditions
