Delivery Drivers

Located in Ottawa, ON

Salary: $23.00

Our client, is looking for 4-8 Delivery Drivers to support their event taking place September 7^th to the 20^th. A valid G‑Class License and a clean Driver’s Abstract are mandatory for consideration.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Valid Class G driver's license with a clean abstract
• Previous driving and delivery experience
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Friendly customer service and communication skills
• Able to frequently lift and carry 20-25 lbs
• Physically capable of pushing/pulling wheelchairs, gear bags, and equipment
• Comfortable loading/unloading trucks using a tailgate/liftgate
• Able to safely stack and secure equipment inside the truck
• Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekends

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Operate a Cube Truck (16’ - 3ton) with a tailgate
• Transport equipment and supplies between Rogers Centre, TD Place, and Carleton University throughout the day
• Pick up equipment from Rogers Centre and deliver it to designated event and team locations
• Collect equipment and gear from teams upon completion of games, practices, or events and return items to Rogers Centre
• Perform multiple deliveries and pickups daily, ensuring timely and accurate transportation of equipment
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently, following established handling procedures
• Operate truck tailgate/liftgate equipment to move heavy or bulky items
• Secure equipment during transport to prevent damage and ensure safe delivery
• Inspect equipment and shipments for completeness before pickup and delivery
• Maintain communication with team personnel and dispatch regarding delivery schedules and changes
• Adhere to all company safety policies, transportation regulations, and vehicle operating procedures
• Keep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working condition
• Assist with general warehouse and logistics duties as required

Wage: $23.00 per hour – Lunch will be provided

Schedule:

2 Shifts Available
7:00am to 3:30pm
2:00pm to 10:30pm
