Specialized Recruiting Group – Irvine is seeking an Accounting Assistant for an industrial instruments manufacturing company in the Irvine, CA area. This is a full-time contract opportunity starting at $22.00 to $29.00/hour.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and payment requests
• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate records
• Assist with collections and follow up on past-due accounts
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Support month-end close activities and financial reporting
• Data entry and general administrative tasks

 

Requirements

• One year of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; accurate 10-key and data entry skills
• Ability to handle financial transactions with a high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional, positive, and friendly demeanor
• Associates degree or offsetting experience
