Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Commercial Microwave Assembler!

Position Summary: We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join a manufacturing team assembling commercial microwave ovens. This is a hands-on production position involving the assembly, inspection, and testing of microwave components and finished units. You’ll work at an established assembly station using basic hand and air-powered tools while following specific work instructions to ensure each unit is assembled correctly and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble commercial microwave ovens and their components according to established work instructions
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining speed, accuracy, and quality
• Install and secure components using screwdrivers, hand tools, and air-powered tools
• Inspect parts and completed assemblies for proper fit, placement, and workmanship
• Assist with testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and report defective parts or potential quality concerns
• Follow established production and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on work throughout the shift
• Ability to use basic hand tools and air-powered tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 10-hour shifts

Pay:

• $18.50/hour
