Currently seeking reliable and professional Political Canvassers for a temporary assignment serving the Royal Oak and Clawson areas. This position will involve engaging with members of the community through door-to-door canvassing and distributing informational campaign materials.

The assignment is scheduled to begin immediately and is expected to continue through early November. Candidates may have the opportunity to work up to 40–50 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility based on individual availability and assignment needs.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing within designated neighborhoods and assigned territories.
• Distribute campaign literature and other approved informational materials.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with community members.
• Follow established canvassing routes, procedures, and assignment guidelines.
• Maintain accurate completion of assigned territories and daily activities.
• Represent the organization professionally while interacting with the public.
• Travel throughout the Royal Oak and Clawson areas as required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established instructions.
• Dependable attendance and professional conduct.
• Ability to walk and remain outdoors for extended periods during canvassing activities.

Compensation & Benefits of the Assignment

• $20.00 per hour Paid Weekly
