Patient Service Representative (Part-Time)
Location: Bonita Springs, FL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with occasional Friday coverage as needed.

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Part-Time Patient Service Representative on behalf of a well-established medical practice in Bonita Springs. We are seeking a professional, dependable individual with exceptional patient service skills and strong hands-on experience using Athena (athenahealth) EMR.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Some Fridays as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and check patients in and out in a friendly, professional manner
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Verify insurance information and patient demographics
• Process patient registrations and maintain accurate medical records
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls
• Collect co-pays and process payments
• Utilize Athena (athenahealth) to manage patient information, appointments, and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Support providers and clinical staff with front office administrative tasks

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of recent Patient Service Representative or Medical Front Desk experience
• Must be fully proficient and comfortable using Athena (athenahealth) EMR
• Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance verification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment
• Reliable, professional, and patient-focused
