Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a growing manufacturing company in Arlington, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can efficiently manage high transaction volumes while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

We're looking for someone with strong Accounts Payable experience who can stay focused, meet deadlines, maintain organized records, and demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality every day. Pay is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. 

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Manage accounts payable aging and ensure timely payment processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate account discrepancies.
• Research and resolve vendor payment issues.
• Conduct friendly and professional B2B collections activities, including phone calls, emails, and account follow-up while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Work collaboratively with customers to resolve payment issues, answer account questions, and secure timely payments.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed financial records.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and account updates using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Organize, scan, file, and maintain electronic and paper records.
• Support the accounting and management teams with administrative and accounting-related tasks.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all financial recordkeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; accounting coursework or related education preferred.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable, Collections, Accounting Clerk, AP Specialist, Bookkeeping, or related accounting experience.
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures, vendor reconciliations, and collections practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to maintain laser focus while performing detailed, repetitive tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and work independently.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
