We're seeking a CDL A or CDL B Driver to operate a company dump truck and transport scrap metal throughout the local area. This is a hands-on position that includes loading, hauling, and unloading materials while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
✅ Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company dump truck
- Load and unload scrap metal at local customer and vendor locations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Secure loads and ensure safe transportation of materials
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with general yard duties as needed
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
✅ Requirements
✔ Valid CDL Class A or Class B License
✔ Experience operating large commercial trucks
✔ Experience operating dump trucks
✔ Clean driving record and strong safety mindset
✔ Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
✔ Ability to perform physical work as required
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
➕ Roll-Off Truck Experience (Highly Preferred)
➕ Previous scrap metal, recycling, or construction industry experience
