What You’ll Do
Operate & Monitor Industrial Furnaces
- Load and unload metal components and materials
- Operate and monitor industrial heat-treating furnaces
- Monitor temperatures, cycle times, and processing conditions
- Make sure equipment and processes remain within established requirements
- Identify and report equipment or process concerns
Follow Production Specifications
- Work from orders, procedures, and detailed process specifications
- Ensure components are processed according to established requirements
- Follow established operating procedures and safety protocols
- Use required PPE and maintain a safe work environment
Inspect & Document Results
- Perform basic quality checks on processed materials
- Accurately record temperatures, cycle times, production information, and traceability data
- Verify documentation is complete and accurate
- Help ensure processed components meet established quality requirements
