Job summary
We are hiring for a company that is seeking a Machine Operator Floater - Flexos/Die Cutter to execute corrugated orders and lead crews from setup to completion. You will monitor quality, perform set-up, and ensure safe, efficient operation of Folder Flexo Gluers and Rotary Die Cutters.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential for achieving zero-defect production. Primary responsibilities include running orders per specs, training staff, performing minor repairs, and adhering to safety
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma (or GED) or higher.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the corrugated industry as a machine operator.
  • Experience with Folder Flexo Gluers (FFG) and Rotary Die Cutters (RDC) preferred.
  • Machine-specific experience: specialty gluing, autobottoms, corner tray, flexo printing, ink, and color, litho labeling.
  • Knowledge of assembly and fulfillment processes.
  • Knowledge of various paperboard stocks, board grade combinations, POP displays and printing processes.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee a machine crew from set up to completion of corrugated orders.
  • Run orders according to job specifications and details.
  • Execute orders safely, timely and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot machines or jobs as needed.
  • Train and assist Operators and Helpers with duties.
  • Perform minor repairs on machines, dies or plates.
  • Make impressions and adjustments throughout the machines.
  • Support Operations/General Manager as needed.
  • Maintain safety and complete paperwork accurately.
