Production Support Technician

Lorton, VA | $18.50/hour to Start | Monday–Thursday

We are recruiting for a Production Support Technician with a specialized glass production company in Lorton, VA.

This is a genuine evaluation-hire opportunity for the right candidate. The client's goal is to identify strong performers and bring them onto the team permanently.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday
• 5:00 AM–3:00 PM
• 10-hour shifts
• Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays OFF
• Three breaks totaling approximately 60 minutes throughout the workday
• The remainder of the shift involves standing, moving materials, and working at production stations

Pay

• Starting pay: $18.50/hour
• Strong performers who transition to permanent employment may be eligible for a 10–20% increase in pay

What You'll Do

You'll work as part of a hands-on production team supporting the manufacturing of specialized glass products.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting daily glass production operations
• Working at various production stations
• Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
• Using hand tools and production equipment
• Performing hands-on assembly and production support tasks
• Following detailed work instructions and safety procedures
• Maintaining accuracy and quality throughout the production process
• Working efficiently as part of a production team

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is good with their hands, mechanically inclined, and enjoys hands-on work.

Previous experience in any of the following is a plus:

• Maintenance
• Mechanical work
• Automotive/mechanic work
• Carpentry
• Construction
• Manufacturing
• Skilled trades

You don't have to have previous glass experience. If you are mechanically inclined, hard-working, dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

Physical Requirements — Please Read Carefully

This is a very physical, hands-on production position. You should be comfortable spending your workday:

• Standing for extended periods
• Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
• Working at various production stations
• Lifting up to 75 lbs independently
• Performing repetitive hands-on tasks
• Maintaining focus, accuracy, and productivity throughout a 10-hour shift

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Reliable personal vehicle required
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
• An accurate, typo-free resume is strongly recommended
