Looking for a stable, full-time manufacturing opportunity where you can learn valuable skills and be part of a team?
We’re looking for a dependable and safety-minded Production Operator to join our manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role where you’ll operate production equipment, handle materials, perform quality checks, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
No need to know everything on day one — training is provided. If you’re reliable, pay attention to the details, and are ready to learn, this could be a great opportunity to build your manufacturing experience.
What You’ll Do
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently following established procedures
- Load and unload materials, components, and finished products
- Monitor equipment and production processes and report issues to your supervisor
- Perform visual and in-process quality inspections
- Identify, label, and separate defective or nonconforming materials
- Accurately complete production records, count sheets, quality documentation, and system entries
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, PPE requirements, and work instructions
- Meet production schedules while maintaining consistent quality and productivity
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, coworkers, and union representatives
- Participate in training, cross-training, and continuous-improvement activities
- Perform other duties within the applicable job classification as needed
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Experience
- Previous manufacturing or production experience
- Experience operating production equipment
- Basic inspection or measurement experience
- Experience in a union manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment
Training Provided
