Are you an experienced shipping and receiving professional who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and keeping operations running smoothly?

We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a busy operation in Branford. In this hands-on role, you’ll play an important part in managing the flow of materials and products — from receiving and inventory to domestic and international shipments and deliveries.

You’ll work with a variety of shipping carriers, warehouse equipment, inventory systems, and documentation, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and keeping things on track.

What You’ll Do

• Support daily shipping and receiving operations for domestic and international orders
• Prepare and process FedEx, UPS, and freight shipments accurately and efficiently
• Complete and verify bills of lading, shipping documents, and customs paperwork
• Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, and electric pallet jacks
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and compliance with company and carrier requirements
• Inspect incoming shipments and verify quantities, quality, and purchase-order accuracy
• Receive incoming materials and enter shipments into the inventory system
• Work closely with team members to ensure orders are picked, fulfilled, and shipped on time
• Participate in inventory counts and help research and resolve discrepancies
• Keep warehouse areas, inventory, and records organized and accurate
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
• Operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and goods between facilities and customer locations

What You Bring

• Active Connecticut driver’s license
• Previous forklift operating experience
• At least 2 years of shipping, receiving, or logistics experience
• Experience working with an ERP system
• Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and freight carrier systems
• Ability to organize and maintain a warehouse efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
