Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pay: $27.00–$29.00/hour
Overtime: Available, but not required — typically half-day Saturdays

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor to join a precision manufacturing operation in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role supporting the production of technically demanding aerospace components, where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail truly matter.
You’ll work closely with inspectors, production teams, and leadership to keep quality standards high while helping the operation run efficiently. From inspecting precision components and interpreting engineering drawings to coaching team members and resolving quality issues, you’ll have a direct impact on the quality of the products we deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the quality team by assigning priorities, supporting inspectors, and keeping daily inspection activities on track
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection equipment accurately and confidently
- Verify finished products meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements
- Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming materials and products
- Partner with production and leadership to resolve quality issues and keep work moving
- Help investigate defects, identify root causes, and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
- Ensure established inspection procedures and quality-system requirements are followed
- Train, coach, and support quality team members while building accountability and consistency
- Assist with internal audits, customer requirements, and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Help foster a culture where precision, teamwork, accountability, and quality come first
What You Bring
Required
- 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality role
- 1–3 years of supervisory, team-lead, or quality leadership experience
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency using micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and dimensional tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with quality, production, and management teams
- U.S. citizenship due to applicable position requirements
Nice to Have
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in precision metal manufacturing or an AS9100 quality environment
- Familiarity with nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis
