We are seeking a dedicated Narrow Isle Reach Operator to join our manufacturing/production team. This role is essential for efficiently managing the movement and placement of inventory within narrow aisle storage areas using specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and experience operating warehouse equipment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to streamlined warehouse processes, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and optimal storage utilization.

This role is currently not open to students or those who are looking for temporary roles.

Shifts: Monday-Friday

• Days 7am - 3pm,
• Afternoon 3pm - 11pm

Pay: $21.50hour + 4% vacation pay

Duties

• Operate narrow aisle reach trucks safely and efficiently to access high-density storage locations within confined warehouse spaces.
• Perform precise order picking by retrieving products according to order specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and document order processing activities.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as clamp trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks to maintain operational safety and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.
• Support inventory management by organizing stock in designated areas and conducting regular cycle counts.
• Follow safety procedures diligently, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience

• Proven ability to operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks with certification or demonstrated competency.
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Narrow Isle Reach with a valid license
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
• Must have a verifiable forklift reference
• This role is not transit accessible so having a car or reliable transportation is required
• Basic math skills for accurate order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Experience with heavy lifting tasks and physical stamina are important for daily responsibilities.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to warehouse equipment operation is essential for maintaining a secure work environment.
