CNC Mill / Lathe Operator

Locally Owned Manufacturing Company – Rockford, IL

A locally owned manufacturing company in Rockford is looking for an experienced CNC Mill/Lathe Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have CNC setup experience, be able to read blueprints, and have a strong understanding of G & M code. Mazak experience is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $19+ per hour, based on experience
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Program and make adjustments using G & M code
• Make machine adjustments as needed
• Perform quality control inspections
• Ensure parts meet required specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications

• CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of G & M code
• Mazak experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently
