Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This position will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining an accurate and organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will have recent shipping and receiving experience, forklift experience, and the ability to safely handle physically demanding work.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition
• Prepare, package, label, and load outgoing shipments
• Complete shipping and receiving paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other material-handling equipment
• Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Safely lift and move materials weighing 50+ lbs on a regular basis
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with inventory and material organization as needed
• May be required to assist in the production department based on workload and business needs
• Perform other general warehouse and production duties as assigned

Requirements

• Recent experience working in a shipping and receiving position is required
• Recent work experience regularly lifting 50+ lbs is required
• Minimum of 6 months of recent forklift experience required
• Ability to safely and repeatedly lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to work in both warehouse and production environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions

Physical Requirements

• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing 50+ lbs
• Standing and walking for the majority of the shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be someone with recent, hands-on shipping and receiving experience, at least 6 months of forklift experience, and a proven recent work history involving regular 50+ lb lifting. Candidates should be comfortable helping wherever needed, including assisting the production department when necessary.
