FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:
* Maintain interior of building – performing routine and as needed chilled water HVAC, flooring, plumbing, painting, patching and miscellaneous maintenance, repairs and improvements.
* Maintain exterior of building overseeing lawn care, sidewalk maintenance, parking lot maintenance, painting, and power washing.
* Maintains lighting fixtures, performing bulb changes and updating fixtures as needed.
* Light electrical repairs and maintenance.
* Maintains plumbing performing routine sink, faucet, toilet, and urinal repairs.
* Keep records of maintenance or service following established procedures.
* Maintain a professional interaction with vendors and staff.
* Review operational integrity of building equipment.
* Furniture and equipment moves and setup.
* Monitor availability of housekeeping/janitorial supplies.
* Recommends process improvement and/or changes to supervisor/management relative to maintenance, housekeeping, lawn care, safety and energy.
* Use basic Microsoft and helpdesk software programs.

Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
* Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

DAYS / HOURS
* Monday – Friday - 8:00 – 5:00 p.m.
* Occasional after-hours work for emergency matters and pre-planned tasks/projects.
