We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing and construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and mechanical skills to contribute to high-quality construction and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a proactive approach, and a commitment to excellence.

Shifts: Monday-Thursday ( Must be able to work both shifts)

Day shift: 5:00am-3:30pm

Afternoon shift:3:45pm-2:15am

Duties

  • Perform welding operations using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) techniques on various materials, ensuring strong, durable joints.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate components.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and press brake machines for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
  • Conduct rigging activities to position heavy materials safely for welding or assembly.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to ductwork, machinery, or structural components.
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, welding
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards
  • Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly projects and ensure compliance with project schematics.

Experience

  • Proven experience in welding within manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environments.
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes; experience with plasma cutting preferred.
  • CWB certification in GMAW flat and horizontal positions required
  • Proficient in welding techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precisionUnderstanding of codes and standards related to welding processes
  • Physical stamina to work in various positions and environments (standing, bending, climbing)
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery safely
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issue

Experience:

  • MIG welding: 3 years (required)
