About the Role

What You Will Do

• Bilingual Shift Leadership: Supervise and direct 2nd shift production associates, clearly communicating instructions, safety guidelines, and shift goals in both English and Spanish.

• Operational Flow: Monitor line speed, troubleshoot equipment bottlenecks, and adjust floor staffing to maintain steady throughput.

• Team Training: Coach and train new team members on plant procedures, operational expectations, and workplace safety standards in both languages.

• Safety & Food Quality: Enforce continuous food safety practices, sanitation standards, and quality control guidelines on the production floor.

• Production Tracking: Monitor attendance, track performance metrics, and input shift logs into basic production management software.

• Shift Reporting: Communicate daily yield results, line maintenance needs, and operational issues directly to plant management.

What You Need

• Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required to effectively lead the production floor.

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on food manufacturing experience required.

• Leadership Experience: At least 6 months of supervisory experience in a warehouse, factory, or production environment.

• Computer Literacy: Basic tech skills for data entry, email communication, and navigating production tracking systems.

• Shift Availability: Willingness to train on 1st shift initially, then transition to managing 2nd shift operations long-term.

• Reliability: Strong leadership presence, clear communication, and reliable transportation to Hazelwood, MO 63042.
