About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Production Worker (Rotating Shift) for an established commercial facility in Saint Louis, MO (63115).

This is a ground-floor, physically demanding position that offers a direct path to union membership. You will spend your first 90 days tackling plant sanitation, equipment blow-downs, and bulk material cleanup. Shift Schedule & Overtime Details

• Heavy Weekly Hours: Expect ~56 hours per week, providing up to 16 hours of overtime pay.

• Onboarding Schedule (First 90 Days):

  • Days 1–45: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Monday – Thursday)

  • Days 46–90: Day Schedule (5:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Thursday – Monday)

• Ongoing Rotation: After 90 days, you transition to an ongoing schedule that rotates between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts every 3 weeks for full plant coverage.

What You Will Do

• Plant Sanitation (Months 1–3): Use shovels and manual tools to clear dust, grain residue, and bulk material from processing lines into disposal barrels.

• Pneumatic Blow-Downs: Safely operate high-pressure air hoses to strip dust and debris off processing machinery.

• Bulk Material Handling: Lift, load, scoop, and clear heavy raw materials across multi-level processing floors.

• PPE Adherence: Wear full personal protective equipment, including a respirator, in high-dust operational areas.

• Industrial Environment: Perform continuous labor in a non-climate-controlled, dusty, and high-noise facility.

What You Need

• Required PPE: Steel-toe work boots strictly required on day one.

• Heavy Physical Capability: Comfortable doing heavy manual labor (shoveling, lifting, bending) in dusty and temperature-variable conditions.

• Respirator Fit: Willing and able to wear a protective respirator mask throughout your shift.
