About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a full-time Utility Associate (1st Shift) for a high-volume, automated production and bottling facility in Maryland Heights, MO (63043).

In this fast-paced line support role, you will keep conveyor lines running smoothly by assembling boxes, staging packaging materials, supporting robotic loading stations, and packing products. This position features a predictable rotating 2-2-3 schedule where you stay on the clock for your entire shift—meaning all your breaks and lunch periods are 100% paid!

What You Will Do

• Box Assembly & Line Feeding: Construct cardboard shipping boxes quickly and stage them along active conveyor lines for automated robotic loading.

• Bottling & Manual Packing: Hand-pack finished bottles into containers, pull items off fast-moving line systems, and route them to staging bays.

• Conveyor Operations: Monitor conveyor flow continuously to clear line jams, prevent bottle tipping, and keep product moving.

• Cross-Station Support: Rotate through dynamic production tasks across the floor based on daily shift priorities and plant output goals.

• Workstation Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and hazard-free work area around high-speed machinery.

What You Need

• Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English clearly to follow safety cues and verbal instructions on an active floor.

• Schedule Flexibility: Commitment to working the 2-2-3 rotating shift structure, including alternating weekends as scheduled.

• Environment Comfort: Comfortable working around fast-paced automated conveyor belts and in high-noise manufacturing areas (hearing protection provided).

• Facility Rule Adherence: Willingness to remain on facility grounds for the entirety of the shift while paid on the clock.

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle materials throughout the shift.

• Reliability: Rock-solid attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation to Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
