About the Opportunity

A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Operator with Swiss screw machine experience to join its production team in the San Jose metro area. This role is responsible for setting up and operating Citizen Swiss machines, interpreting technical drawings, monitoring production processes, and performing quality inspections to ensure that components meet strict specifications. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Duties

• Set up and operate Citizen Swiss screw machines for precision manufacturing operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications.
• Load raw materials and prepare machines for production runs.
• Run and verify first-piece inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Perform machining operations such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating Swiss screw machines, preferably Citizen models.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC machine setup and operation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
