What You Will Do

• Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts across active warehouse and dock floors.

• Freight Handling: Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from trailers, shipping containers, and staging bays.

• Stock Stacking & Movement: Transport, stage, stack, and organize materials and palletized inventory throughout the facility.

• RF Scanning & Tracking: Utilize handheld RF scanners to log inventory, verify shipment manifests, and confirm stock locations.

• Freight Inspection: Inspect incoming materials for damage, verifying shipment counts against load sheets prior to staging.

• Facility Safety: Strictly adhere to all facility safety guidelines, maintaining spatial awareness and a hazard-free work area.

What You Need

• Equipment Experience: Prior sit-down counterbalance forklift operation experience strictly required.

• Technical Skills: Comfort using RF scan guns to track stock movements and verify order accuracy.

• Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically and work actively throughout the shift.

• Detail & Stability: Strong attention to detail regarding load stability, stacking patterns, and inventory precision.

• Reliability: Rock-solid attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation across St. Charles County.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
