About the Role

Express Employment Professionals is hiring full-time Forklift Operators for busy warehouse and distribution facilities across St. Charles County, MO.

If you have experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, order pickers, or electric pallet jacks, this position offers steady employment, competitive pay, and flexible schedule options. You will be responsible for loading/unloading freight, transporting inventory, scanning barcodes, and staging materials safely throughout the warehouse floor.

What You Will Do

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including sit-down counterbalance forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, high-lift order pickers, and electric pallet jacks.

• Freight Handling: Load and unload incoming/outgoing shipments from trailers, container trucks, and staging docks.

• Material Transport: Transport raw materials, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods across production and warehouse floors.

• RF Scanning & Tracking: Use RF scanners to log inventory movements, scan barcodes, and confirm order accuracy in real time.

• Racking & Staging: Stack, rack, and stage products at heights and in narrow aisles according to warehouse bin locations.

• Equipment Safety: Perform mandatory pre-shift equipment safety checks and immediately report any maintenance requirements.

What You Need

• Equipment Experience: Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, or electric pallet jacks strictly required.

• Certifications: Prior workplace forklift certification or operator card preferred (on-site re-certification often provided).

• Technical Proficiency: Comfort using RF scan guns and performing accurate basic inventory counts.

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift.

• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to workplace safety guidelines and high spatial awareness in busy aisleways.

• Reliability: Rock-solid attendance, daily punctuality, and reliable transportation across St. Charles County.

• Screening: Willingness to complete standard pre-employment background checks and screenings.
