About the Role
Our client in the Conroe area is looking for a hands-on Temp to Hire Shop Helper to join their fabrication team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic carpentry and shop skills who's looking to grow into a permanent position with a stable, hardworking crew.

 

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and crates to spec
• Operate saws, drills, nail guns, and basic hand tools
• Read a tape measure accurately and consistently
• Support general fabrication and shop tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Basic carpentry skills
• Comfortable operating saws, drills, nail guns, and hand tools
• Mechanically inclined with fabrication shop experience or aptitude
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructions closely
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
