Salary: Pay starting at $17.00/Hour

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Assistants to support a local printing operations team. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the Press Operator with daily printing operations.
• Support make-ready procedures, including plate, ink, and blanket changes.
• Load and transport board and materials to and from the printing press.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on press equipment.
• Monitor print quality and assist with quality control checks.
• Properly handle and dispose of printing waste materials.
• Maintain inventory and restock pressroom supplies as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow production schedules and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, printing, or machine operation experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
• Forklift and Pallet Jack experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
