We are seeking a dedicated Production Line Worker/Assistant Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the assembly and fabrication processes on the production line, ensuring that products meet quality standards and production schedules are maintained efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, hands-on skills with hand and power tools, and experience working in a manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills while contributing to the creation of high-quality products in a dynamic setting.

Rotational Shifts: Days 7am - 3pm, Afternoon 3pm - 11pm, Nights 11pm - 7am (must be flexible to work all shifts)

Pay rate: $17.6.00/hr -$19.00/hr, plus 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly of components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to meet production specifications
• Support welding tasks by preparing materials and assisting lead welders with fabrication processes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects or inconsistencies
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and resolve any operational issues
• Handle inventory management tasks, including stocking materials and updating records accurately

Qualifications

• Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or assembly lines preferred
• Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and basic welding equipment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
