Our client, a leading clean technology company specializing in air pollution control and environmental solutions, is looking for a Field Service Representative to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, commission and service industrial equipment
• Travel to customer sites throughout Canada, the U.S. and internationally
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper installation
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and P&ID drawings
• Troubleshoot equipment and instrumentation
• Provide onsite and telephone technical support to customers
• Provide hands-on and classroom operator training
• Coordinate and oversee external subcontractors when required
• Communicate with customers regarding schedules, technical questions and service requirements
• Prepare detailed field service reports and recommendations
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Qualifications

• College or university education in a related field
• Hands-on experience working with mechanical and/or electrical equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. periodically
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport and ability to travel throughout North America and internationally
