Customer Sales and Support Specialist

Located in Grants Pass, OR

Salary: $18-22/hr

Customer Sales and Support Specialist responsibilities include working with customers collecting and entering sales data and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Our ideal candidate has essential customer service skills, data entry skills, with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms, as well as good communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage/monitor inbound webstore orders
• Create Sales Orders from quotes, and purchase orders for new & existing customers
• Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities
• Communicate with customers regarding sales orders, product availability, shipment delays and other relevant sales information

Tasks:

• Enter inbound sales orders, repair requests and repair approvals
• Send order confirmations with accurate ship date
• Use the system to identify product availability
• Create Planned production orders to establish availability of out-of-stock items
• Establish and communicate lead-time for stock and out-of-stock items
• Establish/create accurate “business accounts” for preliminary quoting
• Convert business accounts to active customers with accurate contact, shipping, payment information
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete orders or documents
• Work with the production team to assess timelines for delivery to customers
• Generate reports and store completed work digitally or manually
• Scan, print, and file documents digitally as needed
• Maintain confidentiality
• Respond to sales and customer queries for information and access relevant files
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
• Respond to emails throughout the day and phone as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional Computer training or certification will be an asset
• Follow procedures and adapt to new processes
• Ability to work with various computer software programs
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Work well under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, think independently and act innovatively
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
• Must be able to work independently and manage deadlines
• Type 40+ wpm

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ of experience in an office setting
• Stand or sit for four (4) or more hours per day
• Advanced computer knowledge, Experience with MS Office and data programs
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Attention to detail
• Proven data entry or like work experience
• Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
• Excellent written communication and knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Job Type: Part or Full-time

 

Working Conditions: 

• Work is performed in an indoor setting with frequent in-person interactions. Work is performed in an office environment.

 Education:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher (required)
• 2-year degree or Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Basic computer skills
• Experience in a customer-facing environment preferred

Pay:        $ 19.00 -25.00 hourly
