Plumbing Service Tech

Located in Grand Junction, CO

Salary: $20 or more DOE

Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on various construction sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts.
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations or repairs
• Utilize HVAC knowledge for related systems when required, supporting broader mechanical projects
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently by applying mechanical knowledge and schematic analysis
• Assist with remodeling projects by performing carpentry tasks and handyman repairs as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used for project records

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing or related trades with a solid understanding of construction site operations
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with confidence
• Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and general construction principles
• Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks typical on construction sites
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site access or material transport
• Prior handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus but not required
