Technical Support Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers while working closely with Sales, Engineering, and other internal teams.

Position: Technical Support Specialist
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Provide technical support by phone, email, and other communication methods
Work with Sales and Engineering teams to identify and resolve customer issues
Document issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system
Follow up with customers to ensure issues are fully resolved
Assist with customer training and provide guidance on best practices
Create and maintain technical support resources and training materials
Provide technical support to internal departments as needed

Qualifications

Previous technical or hands-on experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
3–7 years of experience with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of electrical diagrams and mechanical/plumbing systems preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and resolution skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to think quickly and find effective solutions
