Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a leading surface finishing manufacturer in Sedro-Woolley, WA to hire a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator. Operating from a state-of-the-art, 34,000+ square foot facility and home to the largest powder coating oven in the Pacific Northwest, this company provides comprehensive surface finishing solutions for steel fabricators, contractors, and manufacturers throughout the region.

What you get to do:

• Receive incoming materials, supplies, and products, verifying quantities and inspecting shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Process outgoing shipments and ensure products are packaged, labeled, and documented correctly.
• Coordinate and schedule pickups and deliveries with freight carriers, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain shipping and receiving schedules to support operational needs and customer requirements.
• Track, document, and update shipment records, receiving logs, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure accurate checking of materials and products in and out of the facility.
• Communicate proactively with internal departments regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and inventory needs.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, as required and in compliance with safety standards.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
• Responsible for ensuring the accurate movement of materials, products, and shipments while maintaining efficient scheduling and coordination with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objective

What you need to be successful:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with computers and inventory management systems.
• Highly organized and dependable
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience preferred.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 6:00AM to 2:30PM

Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 (DOE)
