A busy metal shop that operates outdoors and focuses on processing and handling various types of metal materials. The work environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and safety-focused.
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to keep machinery and equipment running smoothly. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment.
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on shop machinery including conveyors, balers, and other heavy equipment.
Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
Work with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Maintain records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance.
Support shop operations by prioritizing and completing maintenance tasks.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and promote a safe work environment.
Previous experience in industrial or heavy equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Having own tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Shift: Monday–Friday, day shift.
Pay: $20–$30 per hour, DOE.
