Accounts Receivable Specialist - Commerce, CA

Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

A manufacturing company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our accounts receivable operations. In this role, you will manage a high volume of billing processes and ensure the timely and accurate invoicing of customers across multiple sales channels. You will be an integral part of the Accounts Receivable team, maintaining positive relationships with our customers and streamlining the invoicing process. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post customer invoices accurately and on time
• Process a high volume of billing transactions
• Submit invoices through EDI and customer portals
• Send invoices and payment reminders to customers
• Maintain customer account information and records
• Process credits, deductions, returns, and refunds
• Post and apply customer payments accurately
• Match prepayments to customer orders
• Work with customer service to resolve billing or order discrepancies
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Respond to customer and internal account inquiries

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• Minimum 2 years of accounts receivable or related experience
• Experience with high volume billing
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Visual is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
