Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable General Labourer to join their team for a temporary assignment of approximately 2 months.

The successful candidate will work closely with a predominantly Spanish-speaking team, so Spanish language proficiency is preferred to support effective day-to-day communication with team members.

Duties

• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment on-site
• Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary tools and supplies
• Support skilled tradespeople by providing materials and general assistance
• Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as required
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and protocols
• Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision
• Assist with site cleanup and waste removal
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding daily tasks, instructions, and work activities

Requirements & Skills

• Spanish language proficiency preferred to communicate effectively with team members
• Previous general labour or construction experience is considered an asset
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions
• Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures
• Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and equipment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to adapt to different tasks and working conditions
