Job Summary

Are you looking to launch a hands-on technical career with real upward mobility? We are seeking a reliable, motivated Installation Apprentice to join a premier low-voltage and security installation team in Baton Rouge!

This is an entry-level training opportunity where you will start from scratch—pulling wire and assisting with security, audio/video, and network system installations. The client will sponsor you to get Apprentice Certified through the State of Louisiana, opening up long-term career growth to become a full installer or licensed electrician.

Key Responsibilities

• Cable & Wire Pulling: Assist with running and pulling low-voltage cabling for security systems, IP cameras, audio/video sound systems, Wi-Fi networks, access control, and motorized shades.

• Hands-On Installation: Help mount hardware, wire patch panels, install video walls, and configure basic security alarms under direct guidance.

• Tool Operation: Safely use hand and power tools (drills, cutting pliers, volt meters, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete everyday installation tasks.

• Equipment & Vehicle Care: Help maintain organized work areas, keep company vehicles clean and stocked, and assist with managing daily project paperwork.

• Field Driving: Operate company vehicles to and from job sites as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Punctuality & Reliability: On-time attendance is the #1 priority. Candidates must be dependable and consistently punctual.

• Technical Aptitude: Experience with hand/power tools is required. Prior exposure to wiring, cabling, audio/video, or low-voltage systems is a major plus!

• Driving Record: Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR check required to operate company vehicles).

• Dress Code: Plain t-shirt or collared shirt, khaki pants, and durable closed-toe shoes.

• Background & Screening: Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and a 5-panel drug screen.
