Salary: $27.00 - $30.00/HR

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00/HR

Duties:

  • Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on dedicated recycling routes throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, and Michigan.
  • Transport and deliver loads in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Perform drop-and-hook deliveries, which make up approximately 80% of loads.
  • Complete live load and live unload deliveries, accounting for approximately 20% of loads.
  • Safely back into docks and maneuver equipment in customer and warehouse locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment concerns.
  • Utilize a smartphone and transportation apps for communication, routing, and delivery documentation.
  • Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and delivery records.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and receiving personnel.
  • Keep the truck clean, organized, and in good working condition.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL required.
  • Previous Class A CDL driving experience preferred.
  • Safe driving record with a commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Experience with drop-and-hook freight and dock backing preferred.
  • Ability to operate a Freightliner tractor-trailer.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone and mobile applications for work-related tasks.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to repeatedly enter and exit the truck cab throughout the workday.
